Kangaroo Valley NSW

This courtyard style, country Passivhaus home has been recently completed on stunning acreage for a couple and their extended family.
The Client Brief included an inspiring place for family to be creative and absorb the peace and quiet. The courtyard concept provides extended Living areas and protection at for various times of the day and year; juxtaposing expansive views to Kangaroo Valley.

This bushfire prone and environmentally significant site is to be fully ecologically sustainable and be mostly ‘off grid’.

This project was completed as part of an Integrative Design Process in collaboration with Eclipse Passive House to achieve a high performing Passive House.
